This is truly the
“Order of Melchizedek” as God gave it to me in Aug. 1998.
Introduction
Its history: God
decrees.
In Christ’s pre-incarnate state,
Jehovah speaking to
Adonai in Ps 110:4 says:
The LORD has sworn
and will not change His mind,
"Thou art a priest
forever,
in the order of " Melchizedek.".
That is the statement in scripture
that records the official event somewhere in eternity where the Father
gave the Son an oath concerning His priesthood that involved ruling
and reigning, as explained in the rest of that psalm.
Its foundation:
Eternal life.
And
what we have said is even more clear if another priest like
Melchizedek appears, one who has become a priest not on the basis of
a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of ...
THE POWER OF AN
INDESTRUCTIBLE LIFE.
(HEBREWS 7:15-17)
It’s dwelling: A
city.
The construction of
its wall was of jasper;
And the city was pure
gold, like clear glass. ...
...... And the street
of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
But I saw no temple
in it,
For the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
The city had no need
of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,
For the glory of God
illuminated it.The Lamb is its light.
And the nations of
those who are saved shall walk in its light,
And the kings of the
earth bring their glory and honor into it.
Its' gates shall not
be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).
And they shall bring
the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
But there shall by no
means enter it anything that defiles,
Or causes an
abomination or a lie,
But only those who
are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Rev 21:18,21b,-27
To enter the
Melchizedek Priesthood you must first enter
the Kingdom of God and
become a part of God's family.
God's family is not
inclusive of every religion and religious experience.
It is actually a
very narrow path that starts with walking thorough the gate of
personal salvation. You should know up front that it will require
death (self life) and love (your enemies). Other than that it is free
-- bought and paid for by the one desiring your fellowship!
There are sacrifices, works, and blessings on
each level.
Freedom
Level
1
Sacrifice
Isaiah 58:6
Is this not the fast which I choose,
1. To loosen the chains of injustice,
2. To undo the heavy burdens,
3.
And to let the oppressed go free
4. And to break every yoke.
These four commands are dealing with freedom from the yokes and bands
of the enemy, as well as the fallen creation. First we must be free
ourselves, and then we can be used to set others free. This is
basically the deliverance ministry –
represented in the Bible as coming out of Egypt!
There had to be a deliverer from Egypt. Is not Christ this continuing
deliverer? Luke 4:16-21 records Jesus claiming to be the fulfillment
of this ministry of setting the captives free, as He recites Isaiah
61:1 standing in the synagogue. He is calling us to be partakers in
His deliverance ministry.
All
of the things listed above are sacrifices when done on behalf of other
people, for the nations, or for the creation. Pick your level!
This calls for leading others through the freedom path -- breaking
strongholds through repentance, reconciliation and healing.
Level 1 Works Isaiah 58:7
These are the practical works that will accompany the spiritual
breakthroughs of verse 6.
1. Is it not to
divide your bread with the hungry,
2.
And bring the homeless poor into the house;
3. When you see the naked to cover him;
4. And not to hide yourself from your own flesh.
We
must be willing to get involved with the woes of the fallen world. We
must part with our stuff, our time, our money, and not just expect
others to do it for us. Let's talk for a moment about hiding
ourselves from those ugly family problems spoken of in #4. We need to
bring the Kingdom of God into our families. We must pray and actively
trust in HIM to bring something good out of those impossible
situations.
Level 1
Blessings
1.
Then your light will break out like the dawn,
2. And your recovery
(health) will speedily spring forth,
3. And your righteousness will go before you,
4. The Glory of the Lord will be your rear guard,
5. You will call and the Lord will answer,
6. You will cry, and he will say, "Here I am".
(Isaiah 58:8-9a)
Getting heard on
high is just one of the great blessings for walking with the abandoned
and broken. Are you beginning to see a picture of you expending
yourself for others, because of the great blessings you are walking
in? Remember, these must overflow, not just on your friends, or those
like you, but on those people who are different than you and outside
your comfort zone!
Level 2
Purity
Level 2
Sacrifices
If
you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger, and
malicious talk. (Isaiah 58:9b)
The 2nd level of
the Melchizedek priesthood starts out with a sacrifice that is done
inwardly - not for others. Another version says: "If you remove the yoke from your midst, the
pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness"
Now let me
translate this from the Hebrew,
"If you behead
(cut away) the heavy bands by severing between them, these being: 1.
The casting forth of the finger in condemnation towards others, 2.
The speaking, declaring, and teaching of idolatrous philosophy,
mindless chatter, fruitless or wicked speech"
In fewer words - let the Holy Spirit control your tongue !
Level 2 Works
And
if you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the desire of the
afflicted (Isaiah 58;10)
This is about
caring for two classes of people ---the starving and the tormented.
The word “afflicted” means tormented by self, or others.
This is ministry
to the abandoned.
The works that we
do on this level must be beyond ourselves, to take care of the
emotionally needy and the inwardly tormented. Since level two is about
inner straightening, so also, those to be cared for on this level will
have inner soul problems. There is even more to explore in that word
“give ourselves”. That word means a unified effort. Level two is
about a corporate effort. We must join, start, and come together to
help organizations that do this. We must see that these debilitating
needs are met.
Level 2
Blessings
Then
shall your light rise in darkness, and your gloom will become like
midday. (Isaiah 58:11)
An
amplified reading would be;
Then
shall your luminousness rise in darkness, destruction, death, misery,
wickedness, sorrow, and obscurity.
And
your gloominess and misfortune be as the noonday,
And
the Lord shall guide you continually
And
fill to satisfaction your soul in drought.
You
shall be like a soaked, drunken, hedged garden,
And
like a gushing water vein whose waters fail not!
Oh, so many
blessings for our inner straightening, and for our care of the hungry
and afflicted.
Level 2 The Works Of Salvation
I believe that a
special company of level 2 saints will be called to this special work.
Perhaps it will be for those who rule and reign with Jesus, since
these are restorative works that have to do with foundations.
And
they that shall be of thee shall:
Build the old waste places,
Thou
shalt raise up the foundations of many generations;
And
thou shalt be called, the repairer of the breach,
The
restorer of paths to dwell in. (Is 58:12)
1. They shall
build the old waste places:
The Hebrew word
banah (1129) means: to build, to begin to build, obtain children,
make, repair and set.
I believe that
the waste places consist of everything that came under the dominion of
sin at the fall of Adam. Today, these would be the institutions
(social, governmental and religious), which control the masses of
humanity. We will represent this rebuilding by the word----
REGENERATION -
giving back life to something that has died.
2. You shall
raise up the foundations of many generations:
The Hebrew word
for raise is quwm (6965) it is a primary root meaning to rise. This
refers to the foundations of the Kingdom of God.
Many generations
will be supported on this foundation.
We will represent
this by the word:
RESTORATION -
recovering a former state that has been lost.
3. And you
shall be called the repairer of the breach:
The Hebrew word
for repairer is gadar (140), a primary root meaning to wall in or
around; to dose up, fence up, hedge, make up (a wall), mason,
repairer. These people will breach (or repair) the broken places.
These cracks and splits can be between people groups, institutions,
physical places, or individuals. This is truly a priestly ministry
represented by the word:
RECONCILIATION
- bringing back into harmony those who are at odds with one another.
4. The
restorer of paths to dwell in:
The Hebrew word
for restorer is shuwb (7725) also a primary root
meaning; to turn
back (not necessarily to the starting point), to retreat.
It can mean: to
call to mind, to deliver, go back home, recover.
This concerns
those called to turn many souls to the righteous paths of living.
There are many Christian ministries and Churches called to this work
of the restoration of righteous ways. It will be represented by the
word:
REDEMPTION –
leading to
freedom, those, who have gone into slavery.
You
turn your foot from doing your own pleasure on my holy day,
And
call the Sabbath a delight,
The
holy day of the LORD, honorable,
And shall honor it,
Desisting from your own ways,
From seeking your own pleasure
And speaking your own word Isaiah 58: 13
This is how HE
wishes to be honored. This can only happen when we have put down our
own ways, pleasures, and words (opinions and thoughts) in order to put
Him first.
Level 3 Works
Then
you will take delight in the LORD, (Isaiah 58 :14a
Delighting
thyself in the Lord is our “work” in level 3.
Level 3 Blessings
And
I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; and I will feed you
with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has
spoken it.
(Isaiah
58: 14b)
Bobbie wrote in -
I believe the first blessing about riding on the high places of the
earth speaks of revelation and authority. The devil took Jesus to a
high mountain to offer Him the kingdoms ... And the Lord reigns
rightfully at the top of MT Zion. Here we are given the opportunity to
have a higher level of ruling authority with Him. Also it says that He
will give us hind’s feet. That tells me that we will be able to go to
places that we would not normally be able to walk to. So He enables
us to go to higher heights with Him, and that to me is revelation of
who He is on a deeper level and who we are in Him
The
second blessing speaks of inheritance doesn't it? Wasn't Jacob's
inheritance salvation from a deceiver to an heir when his name was
changed to Israel? He had the promises and blessings of Abraham and
through Jesus we do too. So we have all the inheritance that comes
with the Son of God. We have all provision, all things available to us
in the Spirit, every weapon, every tool, every Word, etc. If we are
being fed with the heritage it is a sustaining, equipping,
strengthening in a supernatural realm to be fully equipped in the
Spirit.
This is all off
the top of my head but thought I'd take a shot at it. Love, Bobbie
